Warso Robe Offering Ceremony

Along with the youths of partner organizations from Mon, staff members of Interfaith Youth Cooperative Action for Peace (IYCAP), conducted warso robe offering ceremony at the Mon State Office of Nyein (Shalom) Foundation, August 11, 2018. The donation was aimed at encouraging interfaith youths to realize the meaning of “Warso Robe Offering Ceremony” and the values Buddhists hold for their spiritual practice. At the ceremony, interfaith youths assisted Buddhist youths in offering robes to three Buddhist monks from Dartu Mar Lar Monastery.

 

Including staff of Nyein Mon State Office, personnel from Local Development Network, Mu Done CSOs Network, Paday Thar Moe Civil Society Organization, Mon Youth Education Organization (MYEO), and IYCAP alumni took part in the ceremony.

After the ceremony, Min Aung Htu (Mon State CSOs Network) led the discussion among IYCAP youths under the topic of time management.
